Every year I make a Calendar marking the important and fun dates of the previous year.

I just finished January's page.  I have a sinking feeling that this Calendar won't be hung by the

NEW YEAR.

Maybe tomorrow I can get through March....

HAPPY   FALL   Y'ALL.....

We only have pumpkins once a year, so we have to do this when we have a chance.  Besides, isn't it a parents' right to take photos at every turn?  Don't Worry.... no child was hurt in the taking of these photos.

By the way.... These photos are of Connor and Braedyn...  Can you tell which is which?

Halloween was a great time...  For just about a year... all Braedyn said he wanted to be was a Puppy.  Connor didn't seem to care much, so Nanny and  Papa bought him a cute little Dragon costume.

Preparations as always...  were a laugh and a half.

It's in the AIR...

My favorite Season is now upon us.  The beautiful colors, the smell and even the silence.

Our little family has officially gone on three "fall" drives....  Monte Cristo, Mirror Lake Highway & Logan Canyon.  My favorite was Logan Canyon... it was as if the Mountains were on fire with Reds and Yellows.  It truly was breathtaking.

If you question Gods existence, just go for a Drive....

Completed Task...

It's official...  I feel as though our Family is complete.  Never at the age of even 30 did  I think I would have such a wonderful family - which includes my Handsome Boys and Spectacular Husband.

I have been mulling over the meaning of life lately, and I think I know what it is.  THIS....

I find myself completely amazed that Our Heavenly Father trusts me with these precious lives.    What a special gift I have in all three of my Boys!!!

36 HOURS!!!

As you know... I'm sure, and if not I will tell you now.  We brought a new little one into this world on July 26th via an Emergency C- Section.  His (Connor's) little face was pointing the wrong direction and got stuck under my pelvis.  He was born with a scratched up nose and a bruised upper lip.

Anyhoo...  Recovery from a C-Section isn't too bad, but when you have never had one, it's a little odd knowing what signs of danger to look for.  Well...  Danger started brewing and I had no idea.

(DISCLAIMER...  If you have a weak, really weak stomach... don't read the following.)

My Parent's arrived at our house on Monday afternoon to help while Dave went back to work.  Everything was going as I thought it should.  I had a little discomfort in my abdomen thinking that it was just healing up.  My abdomen was swollen (normal, right?)  and very sensitive to touch.  Well...  on Monday night, it all broke loose....  literally.  I stood up from watching a Movie and my incision opened up.... gushing fluids everywhere.  It was SCARY!!!  I was so happy that my Mom was here and that I wasn't alone.  We rushed upstairs, took care of the situation the best we could and called the Hospital where I delivered.  Since they didn't feel it was an Emergency, we drove down to Salt Lake first thing Tuesday morning.   When we arrived, the Receptionist said it would be about ten minutes, but funny thing....  when you're leaking bodily fluids, they take you right back.

The nurses and Doctor took a look at me and after making several "Oh my" faces, informed me that I  had a hole inside of abodmen where part of the internal incision did not heal.  I tell you...  fear in the face of danger is very unpleasant.   I instantly started crying when they told me that they were going to have to admit me into the Hospital.  Panic and Heartache set in.

Long story a little shorter.... They took me to Room 325 in the Women's Center and I put on a backless robe...  oh JOY!!! So... I started the WAIT!!! Dave was with me for the first hour as we ate lunch together. I haven't sobbed so in all my life. I wanted to be home with my babies! It was so completely unfair that I had to sit in this room... at least it was air-conditioned. As we sat and waited for wound care to show up, we decided that Dave needed to go back home to be with our boys. I cried. I cried.... and then I cried some more after he left. My arms ached to hold my little Connor and to hug my big boy, Braedyn. Life is what it is, and I needed to be where I was... so I gulped it down and dealt with it. O.k. So... here I am, back home after a night of observation. Without too many details, because it is gross (honestly) I have to have a nurse come once a week and Dave is going to be my Nurse every day for twice a week, to get this hole healed up. When I arrived back home last night, I couldn't put Connor down or give him to anyone else to hold. It was the most difficult 36 hours of my life. Did I learn anything? You bet!!! I will NEVER take my family for granted. Every minute away was torture, heartache and sheer panic. I am so grateful for the gift of life and health... Mine and those I love.

I am ashamed of myself... what kind of Mother have I been to let this blog about our family go for so many months... sheesh!!!

I figure I better update you on a little of our goings on, before the new little one arrives, leaving my life completely unpredictable.

Let's work our way backwards, shall we?

BIRTHDAY 2012

Our little big man turned 4 on the 14th of July.  I am still shaking my head at that one.  He loves Rockets and Robots, so that was our theme.  We had a small little party with his Stomp Rocket, Water Fun and a Pinata.
For days after all he could say about his party is that he had so much fun....
and, "I'm a Big Boy Now...  Member?"

We found Robot sprinkles... what a great touch, right?

Decorating a Robot Bag for all the Pinata Goodies!

"That's just what I wanted."  ...  an electronic Backhoe.

WATER PLAY!!!

FIRST BIKE...

Braedyn got to pick out his very first bike.
Growin' up way too fast!

Day out with Thomas!!!

We're big fans of Thomas the Tank Engine around here... so when we learned that we could go for a ride and actually spend the day with Thomas, we were all over it.  Braedyn was a little reluctant about seeing Thomas until we saw him for the first time, then we couldn't erase the smile from his face if we tried.  It was such a great fun day.  He still talks about it two months later... even down to the shirt that he wore that day.

Funny thing...
A little one is growing, stretching, spinning and doing a little jig....

To quote this little one's Big Brother....
"I  like Boys!!"  He has been telling us from day one that we were going to have a boy.
Braedyn will be a GREAT BIG BROTHER!!!

December 17th we took a little test, with only two little answers.....  and the answer was yes!!!    After Hyper-Ventillating for ten minutes (Seriously) it began to sink in.    I am now 13 weeks  along and it has almost sunk in.    By August 1st.... maybe it will completely sink in.
