Five years ago today I became a Mother, for the first time.  Something that I once thought I never wanted... and certainly never thought I needed... but am so very grateful that I am.

Braedyn Lee Alder...  You are my Sunshine!!

 

 

 



 

 

We live fairly close to Bear Lake, but don't get there as often as we would like.  Today we made it over the mountain to Rendezvous Beach.  It was Connor's first time and he loved it.  The cold water took his breath away a little, but he did pretty great!  Braedyn loves the beach and talks about it all year long.

I actually finished it...  Our 2013 Calendar.

I actually made it with three weeks to spare into the new year.

 

Braedyn always loves it when we turn over the next month.  Our Scrapbook calendar has become one of our family traditions.

 

 

Every year I make a Calendar marking the important and fun dates of the previous year. 

I just finished January's page.  I have a sinking feeling that this Calendar won't be hung by the

NEW YEAR.

 

Maybe tomorrow I can get through March....

We only have pumpkins once a year, so we have to do this when we have a chance.  Besides, isn't it a parents' right to take photos at every turn?  Don't Worry.... no child was hurt in the taking of these photos.

By the way.... These photos are of Connor and Braedyn...  Can you tell which is which?

Halloween was a great time...  For just about a year... all Braedyn said he wanted to be was a Puppy.  Connor didn't seem to care much, so Nanny and  Papa bought him a cute little Dragon costume. 

Preparations as always...  were a laugh and a half.

 

 

It's in the AIR...

My favorite Season is now upon us.  The beautiful colors, the smell and even the silence. 

Our little family has officially gone on three "fall" drives....  Monte Cristo, Mirror Lake Highway & Logan Canyon.  My favorite was Logan Canyon... it was as if the Mountains were on fire with Reds and Yellows.  It truly was breathtaking.

If you question Gods existence, just go for a Drive....
