H-O-R-S-E... spells horse!

Our little family took off on Sunday for a little drive to Arimo, Idaho... home of Uncle Bill and Aunt Connie. Oh yeah... PUP and SMOKEY were there too. Braedyn had a chance to really get to know what a horse is. Daddy and Braedyn fed the horses and got in a few pats.

My favorite part of this trip was seeing the pure happiness on Braedyn's little face. Scroll down and you'll see what I mean.

Meet Barty...

I took Braedyn outside to play for a little while before nap. Since it's sunny... logically I thought of opening up the umbrella on our deck for a little shade. Well, to my astonishment... A BAT was sleeping within the security of the closed umbrella. At first when we saw it, it was asleep. I'm surprised it could sleep with all the screaming I was doing... (I am so a girl!)

I've decided to call him Barty... Barty the Bat. Unfortunately... we will be saying goodbye to Barty this evening as he takes off for his evening meal. We are going to put his home back in the garage for awhile so he'll find another place to live.
