It would simply be a Waste to stay inside on such a beautiful day.

We made our way to the park today and had lots of fun on the slide... as well as everything else. I may not have as much energy as Braedyn, but it does my soul good to get out in the sun again.

We went for a Scavenger Hunt Photo Drive this evening. On our list... A Stop Sign, Barn, Fence, Horse, Wind Mill, Post Office and Calf.

You know it's Spring when these energy filled babies dot the Horizon. They are so cute. Braedyn got a kick out of them tonight. We have a friend who has 80 head, so we'll get a little closer next time.

The simplest things in life cause us to reflect on how important life is. Last week we went to a Friend's house to see her baby chics. They had the cutest little feathers starting to grow. Braedyn was to say the least, mesmerized by the small creatures. I love watching his reaction to new experiences.

This little boy of mine reminds me everyday to appreciate everything, even the small stuff.

It's time to reveal our BIG Project... Braedyn's Room. When I say a BIG project, I mean BIG!!! Not only did we start this BIG project, but we bumped it into High Gear to be ready by Easter. It wasn't an Easter present, that was just my deadline.

It was time consuming, but it was fun to do. When we finished, I sat in the rocking chair and got a little

teary-eyed. This room turned out even better than I imagined.

STEP ONE...

Blue Paint on upper half of wall.

STEP TWO...

Block in tops of rolling Green Hills.

STEP THREE...

Paint Trees with Chocolate Brown Latex paint.

STEP FOUR...

Add leaves to tree using Cricut to cut our different shapes.

STEP FIVE...

Sponge in clouds.

STEP SIX...

Paint grass in varying shades of green. (Thanks Mom for helping during your vacation)

STEP SEVEN:

Add vehicles and airplanes to wall, for the perfect touch.

This is the largest tree in the room.

I added a couple of birds and a nest, thanks to the Cricut.

Braedyn was overwhelmed with everything to look at.

The fun goes all around his room.

The Easter Bunny visited our house on Sunday.

Our little angel is growing up so fast. With every flash of the camera (and there's a lot) I realize that I am capturing History in the making. I am so blessed to be the Mother of such a wonderful Little Boy and Wife to a fabulous Husband. With every passing day I appreciate everything that I have all the more.
