We're still kickin!!!

What an embarassing entry... has it really been a month since I last logged in? I guess I can't fudge the date on the blog, can I?

Well... I think it's time to come clean. My Husband Dave was laid off on April 16th and to tell you the truth, I have been trying to hide as much as possible. I'm not ashamed, or embarassed just a little sad I suppose. I have been living in a cloud for a little while and today I vow to break through. I have total faith in my Heavenly Father that this too shall pass. I truly believe that every experience in our lives is meant to teach us. We have been truly humbled by the outpooring concern of those in our small community and Church. Tears of Gratitude are always near the surface.

We went to Salt Lake for Memorial Day and visited the gravesite of Mary Alder, Dave's Mother. It was a little emotional because we all wish that Mary was here with us, especially with Braedyn. However, I have no doubt that they have already met and shared many hugs and kisses.

" I know this should come off, but how?"

A Mother's Day!!!

It's true... The 10th of May, 2009 is Mother's Day... but the true Mother's Day for me was July 14th, 2008. It took place in the LDS Hospital... Salt Lake City, Utah @ exactly 1:02 p.m. That was the moment I was blessed into Motherhood.

Over the past Ten Months I have been witness to true love. I have watched my Little Sunshine roll over by himself, wave at us when we say "Hi", Smile when I start singing his favorite songs, Clap his hands when we say "YEAH!" and the best part lately... getting juicy kisses. I can honestly say I am in love with the blue eyes and blonde hair. I am thankful everyday that my Heavenly Father feels that I am capable to raise such a wonderful little spirit.

As A Family...

One of the best things about being a family... is seeing everything through a different set of eyes, Braedyn's. I know he probably didn't think too much about seeing the beautiful Temple lit up at night, or the breath-taking loveliness of the Tulips, or even the heavenly smell of everything in bloom... but I will. We'll look back on these photos and remember that we were there ... together!

Spring is in the AIR.. Finally!

I do see little signs of Spring here in Randolph, but we had to drive to Salt Lake City to see the obvious signs of Spring. I love it when the trees explode with blossoms... a little like Popcorn Popping. (Flashback to Primary) Even though it rained off and on while we were in the BIG City, we witnessed Spring everywhere. With the Blossoms on Fruit trees.... it reminds me that life is fresh again!!!

Easter Splendor...

Today was such a Beautiful Easter Day! Not only did we hear a wonderful message in Church about the true reason of Easter... but we celebrated a wonderful day with our little Bunny Braedyn.

Every day that we spend together as a family reminds us of the reason we made the choice to be parents. When Braedyn was born, my oldest brother Kirk told me something that I will always hold close to my heart....

"Never wish any of the moments away, because you never get them back."

Some of the best decisions we make in our lives come in little runny nosed, whining, fussing, poopy packages and then you get moments like these....

A Basket FULL of Goodies!!!

Excitement on Canyon Street...

Braedyn started crawling yesterday. It has been fun watching him prepare for the big moment. He's still a little slow... but he definitely knows how it works.

It is the cutest thing... his little feet slid up into his pajamas and seemed to disappear from his footsies. I'm pretty sure they are still in there somewhere.

Absolutely FABULOUS!!!

We had a super fantastic weekend... because Scot, Amy and Larkin came for a visit. We had sooooo much fun. We enjoyed every minute of their stay. We took them to the fantastic Gators - The Lonely Fast Food Joint in town. We had to show them the cutest little dive in our little town of 500 plus.

We are falling in love with Larkin. It was nice holding a newborn again. I can't believe how much she has grown in the short amount of time that she has been here. She' truly is a Beautiful Princess.

Braedyn had so much fun with Uncle Scot and Aunt Amy. It is very obvious that Braedyn thinks they are pretty COOL. Family has become that much more important since Braedyn has joined our family. It was so nice sharing our home and families this weekend.

We all donned our Bunny ears for an Early Easter Celebration.

Dave Getting Started

Braedyn was so thrilled with Larkin. He honestly enjoyed having her around. A Wonderful Friendship has begun.

Goofballs... or should I say Goof Bunnies!!!
